Transformer
Oils –
Calumet produces both Type I and Type II transformer oils
from our Princeton refinery. These oils meet the requirements
of ASTM D3487 and NEMA Specifications. Calumet stays at the
forefront of transformer oil technology with regular participation
in the Doble Annual Survey of Electrical Insulating Oils and
ASTM D27 Committee on Electrical Insulating Oils. See

Refrigeration
Oils – Calumet’s Refrigeration Oils are mineral
oils formulated for use in ammonia and R-22 refrigerant based
systems. Produced in two viscosities, these oils are available
from our Princeton refinery. See

VI
Improvers – For decades Calumet has produced a full
line of Olefin Copolymer based VI Improvers. These products,
sought after by the motor oil industry, are accepted in motor
oil blending formulations.
Raven
Oils – Available from our Princeton refinery, Raven
oils are base stocks used in the manufacture of heavy-duty
industrial lubricants. These unique products also have specialty
applications in non-food dedusting applications.
Tackifiers
– Calumet Caltac is produced exclusively in our Burnham
terminal. This product provides friction modification characteristics
to oils targeted primarily to the Bar and Chain market.
Shock
Absorber Oils – These complex products are
produced in two of our facilities for the light and
heavy-duty shock absorber market. Requiring extensive
testing and complete process control, Calumet retains Quality
Systems Registration for the systems that manufacture
these products.
